Chiropractor
Juan Munoz D.C.
Doctor Juan Munoz is a chiropractor at Inside-Out Family Chiropractic in Sioux City, IA. He knew from a young age that he wanted to serve those around him. While growing up in Correctionville, IA where he attended River Valley High School. If you are struggling with neck or back pain, headaches or migraines, carpal tunnel, sciatica, or any other health condition please contact us today.
Not knowing which field he was called to be in yet, he enrolled at Simpson College in Indianola, IA. There he was able to shadow different medical fields and find the best one for him.
He grew to love college courses in human physiology where he learned how the body functions and how complex and dynamic the body was created to be. And how the nervous system literally controls every function of your body. After shadowing different medical fields he was convinced that none of them were for him. He wanted to serve in a place that brought hope and natural healing without the use of drugs and surgery. Chiropractic is the largest natural, drugless healing profession in the world.
Shortly after attending Simpson College, Dr. Juan attended Palmer College of Chiropractic. The 1st chiropractic college and one of the most prestigious colleges in the nation. During his time in the clinic, he became the head intern in the Spanish Intern Program. Where he worked closely with the Hispanic population and the Palmer Clinic directors. He also not only excelled in school but spent much of his time attending seminars around the country. Dr. Juan has extensive post-graduate training in pediatrics and pregnant women. He is certified in Webster's technique and his experience working with pregnant women, babies and children allows him to provide the highest quality of care. He is currently pursuing a diploma in Pediatrics.
Dr. Juan was blessed with the opportunity to bring the Torque Release Technique (TRT) to Palmer College while in school. Being the founder and president of the TRT student club gave him a great opportunity to become advanced proficiency certified in the Torque Release Technique and in the Fall of 2014, he was honored with the distinguished award of Fellow in the Torque Release Technique. Dr. Juan is one of eleven people in the world to receive such an award for his dedication and expertise in this highly scientific technique.
Dr. Juan moved to Newburgh, New York where he spent time serving at Innate Chiropractic, one of the largest pediatric offices on the east coast, and the largest pediatric office in the state of New York. During his time there Dr. Juan worked with many practice members that suffered from multiple sclerosis, IBS, fibromyalgia, chronic pain, thyroid issues, sinusitis, and allergies. Kids with ADHD, asthma, scoliosis, and autism. Infants with colic, ear infections, and trouble feeding. After being under specific, scientific chiropractic care these practice members were able to heal naturally and get off many of their medications. Dr. Juan used his bilingual skills and worked closely with the Hispanic community in Newburgh.
Dr. Juan has returned to Sioux City, where he feels it is his mission to serve the people of Siouxland with Neurologically-Based Chiropractic Care, so that babies, children, and adults can find hope and healing from the Inside-Out as God designed it. His expertise and knowledge in the torque release technique allow, him to provide gentle and effective adjustments that allow the body to heal itself with tremendous results. In his spare time, Dr. Juan spends his time with his family, attending his church Morningside Baptist Church, and cheering on the Hawkeyes & Cubbies.
Dr. Juan and his wife Riley Munoz welcomed their beautiful daughter Vianna Gloria Munoz in 2022. You will see Riley and Vianna from time to time in the office. Chiropractor
Tyler Stolen D.C.
Dr. Tyler, a Sioux City native, grew up well-adjusted from a very young age because he had a close family friend who was a chiropractor. As a baby, his mother said chiropractic care was the most effective treatment for the colic he experienced. Whenever he had any health-related challenges, his chiropractor was the first doctor he went to.
He enjoys playing many sports such as slow pitch softball, sand volleyball, and pick-up basketball. He played football, baseball, and soccer at Bishop Heelan Catholic High School from 2009-2013, and football at Buena Vista University as a kicker/punter. He received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Human Performance in 2017.
Dr. Tyler received his Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in 2021, and then began his associate position at Inside-Out shortly thereafter. He loves chiropractic because of the hope it offers to those who are suffering from various debilitating life challenges. OFFICE MANAGER
RILEY MUÑOZ
Riley is a Sioux City native, born and raised. She and her husband (Dr. Juan) love spending time with their daughter, nieces, and nephews. Having grown up in a large family, Riley always loves friendly competition. She also says "when it comes to food, tacos and fruit are always the answer." When she has spare time, Riley enjoys baking and decorating cakes, and researching how food and nature can be used as medicine.
Growing up, Riley suffered from multiple headaches and migraines per week. Since being under consistent chiropractic care, she experienced significant relief and no longer considers migraines a problem. She also credits chiropractic for a healthy, uncomplicated pregnancy and delivery of her daughter.
Riley believes in chiropractic care (and the doctors at Inside-Out) because rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, care can be individualized to the person's needs. It serves as a natural alternative to alleviating the pain the person is experiencing and also helps the body to heal from the inside out to improve overall function and vitality.

CHIROPRACTIC ASSISTANT
SARAY DELATORRE C.A.
Saray is proud to be a part of the first generation of her family to be born in the US. Her extended family is from Zaplotanego, Jalisco Mexico. She is the second oldest of six siblings, and a proud aunty to two nephews and one niece. She is also an animal lover, and cat mom to three cats. Saray enjoys a variety of hobbies in her spare time including hiking, dancing, going to concerts, flow arts (including eating fire), and watching movies.
Through her own experience, Saray has learned how valuable chiropractic care is for her own healing journey. When she started to care, she had severe low back, hip, and leg pain, along with occasional headaches. Her pain is significantly improved as a result of receiving consistent chiropractic care, and she also experienced the resolution of chronic sinusitis. She did not know that sinusitis was a condition that chiropractic could improve. She feels stronger and experiences an overall better quality of life as a result of chiropractic.
Saray loves working at Inside-Out not only because they have been an integral part of her healing journey, but also because they motivate her to value her own health and educate her in the ways that she can do so. She loves how chiropractic serves as a drugless alternative to helping the body heal in the way God intended it to do.
